at this point I wish advertising in general was just literally illegal. Word of mouth only. I feel so much rage at the normalization of advertising. advertising should be this dirty word.

it shouldn’t be normal that corporations do everything possible to control you. they do whatever they can to trick, mislead, and skew your thoughts. they do the research into what advertising works even when you don’t want it to. Corporate scale advertising is one of the insidious arms of capitalism and inequality and should not be normal
